A truly great day for this announcement to happen for Maple Grove Park and the St Vital Mustangs football program. Field conversion to artificial turf means more predictable and sustainable programming for the Mustangs allowing games and practices to take place even during inclement weather patterns. I was able to get $900,000 for this project while the Federal Government added $750,000 through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund. The Provincial government was also a contributor and made their funding agreement at a previous announcement. Thank you Craig Bachynski and the board of Mustangs for your diligence.
